Digikala Cart Optimizer — Privacy Policy
Overview
Digikala Cart Optimizer is a browser extension that helps you close your Digikala shopping cart for less. It runs entirely in your browser. It has no backend server, and it does not send your data to the developer or to any third party.
What the extension accesses — and why
Only when you click it, and only on Digikala, the extension uses your existing Digikala login session (cookies) for two things:
- to read your current Digikala shopping cart, and
- to apply the seller changes that you explicitly approve.
These requests go only to Digikala's own servers
(digikala.com / api.digikala.com) — that is, to the same
service the data already belongs to, acting on your own account.
What the extension does NOT do
- No data collection: it does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data outside your own device.
- It never sells or shares your data with anyone.
- It never asks for your password and never handles your credentials.
- It makes no changes to your cart without your explicit confirmation.
- It executes no remote code; all logic is bundled in the extension.
Local storage
The extension may keep small UI settings and the temporary result of your last optimization in your browser's local storage. This never leaves your device.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
